Overview
A hot air balloon safari in Serengeti National Park is one of the most spectacular wildlife experiences in Africa. Floating above the vast plains at sunrise offers breathtaking views of wildlife, rivers, and the famous Great Migration.
The balloon safari usually takes place in the early morning and ends with a champagne bush breakfast in the Serengeti.

Pick up from your lodge or camp inside Serengeti National Park, Transfer to the balloon launch site with coffee or tea available, This early start ensures you catch the sunrise over the Serengeti plains.
At the launch site: Watch the balloon being inflated, Receive a safety briefing from the pilot, Board the basket with other guests.
This is also a great time to take photos as the sun begins to rise.
Take off just before or during sunrise for a 1-hour scenic flight over the Serengeti.
From the air you may see: Wildebeest herds, Zebras and gazelles, Elephants, Lions resting in the grass, Rivers and acacia trees.
Your pilot may fly high for panoramic views or low for close wildlife sightings.
After landing: Celebrate with a traditional champagne toast in the bush. Hear the fascinating story of ballooning traditions in Africa.
